Paint and Plaster Removal

Removing old plaster from a concrete pool is a necessary step before resurfacing. Traditional methods of removing plaster involve the use of grinders or sandblasters. However, these methods can be messy, time-consuming, and create a lot of dust, which can be harmful to breathe in. Dustless Blasting is a faster, safer and more convenient option that pool owners prefer.

Calcium Cleaning

Calcium buildup on pool tile is inevitable and pool owners pay to have removal services performed regularly. Luckily, with Dustless Blasting's adjustable pressure settings, you can easily clean delicate tiles without damaging them and offer clients a better restoration option.

Patio Resurfacing

Over time, pool deck surfaces may become damaged, stained  or worn out from constant exposure to water, sunlight  and harsh weather conditions. Remove paint, sealer and grime from a variety of pool patio surfaces with Dustless Blasting.

PRO TIP - WATCH OUT FOR THIS

Layers of Paint and Plaster

It's common for old pools to have several layers of paint on them. This makes every pool restoration job different because one pool could have two layers and another pool could have seven layers of paint. You won't know until you get out there on the job. Because of this, it's important to do a test blast to be able to price a project accordingly.

"Regardless of how old a pool is or how many layers of paint a pool has, it has to be completely stripped down for the new plaster to last. If you don't remove every layer, the new plaster will fail and the plaster company will have to replaster it again. I recommend doing a test blast or going out before the job with a grinder to see how many layers of paint there is"
