From Passion to Profession
Jereme started as a car enthusiast, a "gearhead" who turned his love for building cars into a thriving business. After 18 years in sales, he made the leap to entrepreneurship. "About five years ago I quit my job and went full-time into building hot rods," he shares.

Jereme chose to invest in a Dustless Blasting machine for practical reasons. "There was a gentleman in town, his name was Bob with Master Blasters... he had done all my sand blasting... he retired," Jereme recalls. Faced with the prospect of high costs, "I have nine full builds that need to be sandblasted... I could pay for a third of this equipment if I just get a machine and do it myself." This realization was pivotal. He researched and discovered Dustless Blasting. "I saw this dustless thing and I'm like dude that's perfect... I'm not gonna make this huge mess... neighbors will be probably just fine with it." The decision was transformative for his auto body shop, and would quickly turned from a cost-savings decision into a money-making opportunity.

Tools of the Trade for Car Blasting
When it comes to car blasting, Jereme relies on a meticulous approach to ensure precision and protect sensitive areas. For masking off areas that should not be blasted, he swears by Frog Tape. "I love frog tape... it sticks extremely well and especially when you're blasting well when it's warm outside it doesn't leave a residue any go to peel it off," he explains. For a clean surface before masking, he uses Sprayway Windex with a microfiber cloth, saying, "I take a microfiber and all the areas I that mask off, I spray it and I clean it very well."
To protect surfaces, Jereme uses X-Board or Ram Board, a thick cardboard thats usually used to protect floors, secured with Gorilla Tape. "I take Gorilla Tape- not duct tape, but gorilla brand... the black one's more abrasive resistant than anything else. I go over the Frog tape and that cardboard at the same time," he notes. He mentions that for sensitive parts like rotors and brakes, black trash bags come in handy.
Containment and cleanup are just as crucial. For wet blasting, he uses visqueen, a type of plastic sheeting, to contain the slurry: "I'll typically bring a couple rolls of visqueen... I go out as far as I can because it's like a slurry but it can still go." After blasting, a leaf blower is his go-to for cleanup, especially on a vehicle. "A leaf blower to me works best because it's volume," he shares.
Real-World Applications and Success
Beyond cars, Jereme embraces the versatility of Dustless Blasting for a range of projects. "I do a lot of log homes, a lot of decks, wood stuff in general," he says, highlighting the machine’s versatility. Whether it's "fiberglass boats" or "anything and everything, honestly," Jereme takes on diverse tasks with confidence.
